Morrisby Testing
My Career Insights is a program for all Year 9 students in Victorian Government secondary schools. My Career Insights will help students discover, develop and drive their career planning. It is a unique opportunity for students to learn more about their strengths and abilities while exploring potential career options giving them the confidence to start taking control of their future. The program is part of a suite of career education reforms implemented by the DET in 2019.
The program involves two stages:
Year 9 students will be given the opportunity to complete their Profiling (a series of questionnaires and quizzes), accessed through the Morrisby website during the Aspire sessions on 21 and 28 February 2023.
They will then discuss their Profiling results with a Morrisby-trained Careers Consultant in a 30-minute online interview in Term 2 (dates will be communicated later).
Please note the following:
It's important to remember that this is NOT an exam
Make sure you are using a laptop, PC or tablet but NOT a phone
Make sure your device is fully charged and has a reliable internet
Take your time to complete each task whilst being mindful of the timer. Respond to each activity to the best of your ability.

Sign up for your Morrisby Profile
Enter the school code to be provided by your Aspire teacher.
Name - Please enter your legal first and last names, don't enter your preferred names
Date of birth - enter your actual date of birth
Email - Please enter the school email id (XXX0000@ms.brentwood.vic.edu.au). Don't provide your personal email id.
Create a password and store it in a secure place, you will need it again to access Morrisby.
5. Complete the 8 timed aptitude modules and 2 multiple-choice questionnaires (interest & personality).
A countdown timer is shown on the screen during each module. Practice items, questionnaires, and breaks are not timed.
If you do not reach the end of a module in the allocated time, that section will close and you will be presented with the next section. Please note, don't expect to complete all the questions in the designated time frame.
If you finish early, you will need to wait until the timer stops. You should use this time to revisit the questions and review your answers.
If you need to take a break, please finish the current module and log out.
When you log in after a break, the modules will recommence from where you left off. Keep breaks short and to a minimum.
6. Your Morrisby Profile results will be shared with you and your parents/carers during a 30-minute interview with the Morrisby-trained Careers Consultant in Term 2 (dates will be communicated later).
